Right Turn is a non-profit organization founded in 2003 with a vision of providing innovative programming, individual support, rehabilitation services and ongoing encouragement to New England artists and entertainers (and their families) who've been affected by alcoholism, addiction, and psychiatric issues.
Our Mission

Right Turn’s intensive 30-day treatment program consists of a three phase approach to working with creative people in early recovery.  Right Turn’s program of unique weekly meetings, specialized workshops, support groups, and traditional 12-step recovery meetings were developed for the creative individual along with guidance from addiction specialists and trained therapists.

(30-day of treatment – Phase I)

Creativity in Sobriety
(60-days – Phase II)

  1. Coping with craving and urges around one’s creativity
  2. Understanding clean and sober living in a creative lifestyle
  3. Managing symptoms of early recovery and anhedonia
  4. Acupuncture for cravings and urges
  5.  Intensive therapy
  6. Case Management
  7. Creativity Groups

Recovery in Action
(90-days, Phase III)

  1. Continued addiction education
  2. Building a supportive network in sobriety
  3. Acupuncture for cravings and urges
  4. Performance and creativity workshops
  5. Putting recovery into action
  6. Intensive therapy
  7. Case Management
