A Message from the President of the Board
Good Day all, I would like to start off by congratulating the man behind all of this, Woody Giessmann. Woody was presented with the Robert Logue Memorial President’s Award by MAADAC a few months ago, and will be recognized in Washington DC, by NAADAC as the National Professional of the Year during a ceremony in September.
We are all hard at work coordinating our 3rd Annual Super Group Concert, Saturday October 2, 2010 at Showcase Live in Foxborough, MA (see below). If you have been to one of our previous concerts, you know this is one of the musical highlights of the year by far. It is also our largest opportunity to raise much needed funds, so please be as generous as you can by purchasing tickets, a sponsorship or our silent auction.
It is due to the efforts of Woody, Abby, the entire Right-Turn Team, as well also the efforts of our strong Board of Directors that Right-Turn is on the road to continued growth. We thank you for your continued support and ask that you help us keep the momentum going, as we are still trying to reduce our debt and expand out services.
Regards,
Dave McDonnell
A Message from Woody Giessmann
September is Recovery Month in Massachusetts. This is a time for all of us involved in the recovery process or with addiction treatment to put a face on recovery and stand up and be counted to advocate for quality services and funding.
I encourage anyone and everyone to attend The 20th Annual Recovery Day Celebration at the state house on Tuesday, September 28th. Recovery Day opens with a celebratory march from Boston City Hall to a State House Ceremony inspired by personal stories of recovery, music, and supportive policymakers. Support MOAR and the Voices & Faces of Recovery. I thank you for your ongoing advocacy.
Regards,
Woody, CEO and founder
